Bios

Damon T. Jenkins DMD, MPH graduated from Hampton University with a degree in molecular biology after which he attended the dental program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. After obtaining his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry (DMD) he furthered his dental education and attended two general practice residencies Lutheran medical center in Brooklyn, NY and LSU Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA. He enjoyed his year in Louisiana. And, with his desire to pursue more dental education he started at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where he obtained his specialty degree in Prosthodontics. Dr. Jenkins is not only a General Dentist. He is a Prosthodontist, a specialist in implant restorations, crowns, bridges, veneers, partial dentures, full dentures, and everything prosthetic. Dr. Jenkins also obtained a masters degree in public health (MPH) from LSU. In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Jenkins is a part-time clinical instructor at the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine and an Army Reservist. He served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps and was promoted to Major in the Army Reserves.

Dr. Jenkins spends his free time with his wife and dogs. He loves traveling, books, cars, dogs, art and music.

Sharixza Jenkins, RDH was born and raised in New Jersey. She graduated in 1994 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey as a certified and registered dental assistant. After working as a dental assistant for several years she continued her studies in science. Sharixza went on to obtain her Associates in Science and Dental Hygiene from the University of Bridgeport, Fones School of Dental Hygiene in Bridgeport, CT, she graduated in 2000. She has been in the dental field for over sixteen years, and is bilingual in spanish and is CPR certified. She is now the office manger at Jenkins Dental at Byne's Falls.

Sharixza has been living in Manchester with her husband for two and a half years. She enjoys spending time with her family and loves reading and traveling.

Ginette Gagnon, RDH was born in Canada and grew up in Coventry. She graduated from Coventry High School in 1975. She became a dental Assistant in 1976 and worked as an assistant for five years. Ginette returned to school and graduated from Springfield Tech in 1983 with her Associates Degree in Science and Dental Hygiene. She has been working as a dental hygienist at Bynes' Falls for over twenty three years. Ginette is an incredible asset to the practice, she loves the patients as much as they love her.

Her hobbies are sewing and gardening. She is married and has two children. She loves spending time with family and traveling.
